Meet The Team » Leslie Hess, LPN, Executive Director
Leslie began her career in senior living in 1996 and in 2014 joined Danbury Senior Living in Wooster as the Director of Nursing and Sales & Marketing Director, and now proudly serves at the Executive Director. A graduate of Norwayne High School and the Wayne County Schools Career Center, she is a life time resident of Wayne County. Leslie believes that senior living has always been her calling. “My wish is to combine my knowledge and experience in long term care, and deliver the best care and services to my residents and their family members.”
Kim McNeil, Director of Nursing
Kim has 30 years of nursing experience in Senior Living in Wayne County. She is a graduate of the Wayne County Schools Career Center nursing program and has been with Wooster Danbury since we opened. Kim has been a resident of Wooster most of her life. “I feel at home at Danbury. Our staff is a team like no other that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Our goal is for our Danbury community to feel just like ‘home’ with a warm and inviting atmosphere, helping our residents feel that they are important members of the family.”
Rachel is a graduate of Wooster High School and Presbyterian College in South Carolina where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Her career in senior living has most recently been spent in a long-term care facility where she served as the Social Services Director. Serving others has always been her passion. She brings an expansive knowledge of senior living as well as exceptional customer service skills. Rachel is eager to get to know residents and families to ensure they have a special personalized experience! Rachel Chisnell, Director of Admissions and Marketing Kelly Rose Stallard joined us as the Director of Business Development and Marketing for Danbury Senior Living in 2017. She brings over 20 years of health care business development experience from the areas of skilled nursing, emergency medical response, skilled home care and hospice. Kelly graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kent State University with a focus in Gerontology. She has received numerous sales growth and new market development awards throughout her career. Kelly’s passion is to assist families when faced with deciding the best options for “aging in place”. She assists in area professional group events and is involved in many community organizations. Kelly is a graduate of the class of 2014 Leadership Medina County. She has also participated in the Faith in Action fundraiser “Dancing with Medina Stars” and won the People’s Choice Award in 2014. Her expertise in health care and her ability to connect people with needed services is a focus of her activities. Kelly Rose Stallard, CDP, Regional Director of Business Development Tiffany Haven, Business Office Manager
Tiffany’s career path with Danbury began as a Dining Server at our Wooster location in October 2018 with a promotion to Business Office Manager at our North Ridgeville location in January 2020. She transferred to Danbury Wooster in December of 2020 when the opportunity came available. Helping others has always been Tiffany’s passion. She has a personal interest in making Wooster feel like home for our residents and their families.
Racheal Braeunig, Director of Life Enrichment
Racheal started her career in long term care 15 years ago as an STNA. She started her career at Danbury Wooster in December of 2014. In 2016, Racheal began a duel role as a Resident companion as well as a Life Enrichment Assistant. Most recently she accepted the position as the Life Enrichment Director. Racheal is very excited to continue the high- quality activities program that has always centered around helping the Residents fill their day with meaningful activity. “Putting a smile on a Resident’s face or doing an activity that brings back fond memories and then hearing about these memories is one of the most rewarding things about this job.” .
Sandy has lived in Holmes County her whole life. At the age of 16 she started her first job as a dishwasher in a long-term care facility. From there she became a cook and attended Florida University to become a Certified Dietary Manager. Sandy joined the Danbury Team in March of 2014. She loves food and enjoys preparing meals for the Residents. “Food makes everyone happy, and making people happy is what it is all about!” Sandy DePriest, Chef Erik Ungerer, Environmental Services
Erik brings 10 years of experience in senior living facilities maintenance and leadership to the Danbury Team. He enjoys working with the senior community and ensuring their environment is well maintained and up to date with their ever changing needs. Erik is an EPA licensed water and wastewater systems operator and enjoys working on mechanical projects at home. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
