Meet The Team »
Leslie began her career in senior living in 1996 and in 2014 joined Danbury Senior Living in Wooster as the Director of Nursing and Sales & Marketing Director, and now proudly serves at the Executive Director. A graduate of Norwayne High School and the Wayne County Schools Career Center, she is a life time resident of Wayne County. Leslie believes that senior living has always been her calling. “My wish is to combine my knowledge and experience in long term care, and deliver the best care and services to my residents and their family members.”
Kim has 30 years of nursing experience in Senior Living in Wayne County. She is a graduate of the Wayne County Schools Career Center nursing program and has been with Wooster Danbury since we opened. Kim has been a resident of Wooster most of her life. “I feel at home at Danbury. Our staff is a team like no other that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Our goal is for our Danbury community to feel just like ‘home’ with a warm and inviting atmosphere, helping our residents feel that they are important members of the family.”
Danielle’s career path with Danbury began as a Receptionist in March 2015 with a promotion to Business Office Manager in 2016. She recently earned her Bachelor's degree in Business and Administration from The University of Akron. Danielle has a personal interest in assisting with the quality of service provided to our residents, their families and friends. She strives to brighten each resident’s day.
Shawnna began her career in senior living 15 years ago as a State-Tested Nurse Aide. A life-long resident of Wayne County, Shawnna joined Danbury as a Resident Companion specializing in a Life Enrichment Role. Shawnna has grown into the Director of Life Enrichment position and takes great pride in her work. She is also a certified instructor of Chair Chi, an exercise program for individuals to do from the comfort and safety of a chair. She shows much compassion and patience with residents. Shawnna enjoys getting acquainted with residents and serving them by providing exciting activities that enrich their lives.
Brad has been in the building maintenance trade for over 25 years with a strong emphasis in building controls and HVAC. He is proficient in all the trades required to perform proper building maintenance and management. He has been part of a management team for more than 15 years. “My career direction took a turn in 2016 when I realized that I have an overwhelming desire to make a difference in the lives of our seniors. I take pride in being part of an organization that has a common goal such as that of Danbury in Wooster.”
