Meet The Team »
Leslie began her career in senior living in 1996 and in 2014 joined Danbury Senior Living in Wooster as the Director of Nursing and Sales & Marketing Director, and now proudly serves at the Executive Director. A graduate of Norwayne High School and the Wayne County Schools Career Center, she is a life time resident of Wayne County. Leslie believes that senior living has always been her calling. “My wish is to combine my knowledge and experience in long term care, and deliver the best care and services to my residents and their family members.”
In 2014, Taylor began her career at Danbury Senior Living in Wooster as a resident companion. She graduated from the Wayne County Schools Career Center’s nursing program and continued her career at Danbury as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was promoted to the Assistant Director of Nursing in March 2021 and most recently to the Director of Nursing in August 2022. Her mission is to provide optimal care for the residents, while making Danbury feel like home. Taylor loves camping and spending her spare time outdoors with her family.
Tiffany’s career path with Danbury began as a Dining Server at our Wooster location in October 2018 with a promotion to Business Office Manager at our North Ridgeville location in January 2020. She transferred to Danbury Wooster in December of 2020 when the opportunity came available. Helping others has always been Tiffany’s passion. She has a personal interest in making Wooster feel like home for our residents and their families.
Shawnna began her career in senior living over 20 years ago as a State-Tested Nurse Aide. In 2014, she joined Danbury as a Resident Companion specializing in a Life Enrichment Role. Shawnna has grown into the Director of Life Enrichment role and takes great pride in her work. She is a certified instructor of Chair Chi, an exercise program for individuals to do from the comfort and safety of a chair; also, is a certified Dementia Friend, a program directed toward helping people living with Dementia. Shawnna shows much compassion and patience with residents. She enjoys getting acquainted with residents and serving them by providing exciting activities that enrich their lives. Shawnna loves to spend time with her family and her grandchildren.
Racheal started her career in long term care 15 years ago as an STNA. She started her career at Danbury Wooster in December of 2014. In 2016, Racheal began a duel role as a Resident companion as well as a Life Enrichment Assistant. Most recently she accepted the position as the Memory Care Coordinator. Racheal is very excited to continue the high- quality activities program that has always centered around helping the Residents fill their day with meaningful activity. “Putting a smile on a Resident’s face or doing an activity that brings back fond memories and then hearing about these memories is one of the most rewarding things about this job.” .
Erik brings 10 years of experience in senior living facilities maintenance and leadership to the Danbury Team. He enjoys working with the senior community and ensuring their environment is well maintained and up to date with their ever changing needs. Erik is an EPA licensed water and wastewater systems operator and enjoys working on mechanical projects at home. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
