Toni Fuzo, Executive Director
Toni joined the Danbury team in July 2018. She brings 25 years of dedicated service as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator within the assisted living and skilled care setting. Toni attributes her success as a leader to following the core values of compassion, fairness, honesty, humor and respect. Toni earned a BS degree in Economics and an Associate Degree in Business Management from Youngstown State University. Toni is a life long resident of Northeast Ohio. She and her husband, David have 3 sons attending college and 2 dogs. Toni enjoys watching Cleveland sports, biking, gardening and spending time with her family.
Sarah Gray, LPN, CDP, Director of Nursing
Sarah joined the Danbury team in January 2020. She has 23 years of nursing experience in the hospital, skilled nursing and assisted living settings. As a certified Dementia Practitioner she loves both our AL and MC Residents. When not at work Sarah spends time with her husband, teenage son, and daughter and enjoys gardening.
Barbara Daily, Director of Sales and Marketing
With over 30 years of experience in senior living, Barbara has served seniors in several capacities. Her career began as a Hospital Liaison with Riverside/Grant Hospitals, Columbus, Ohio. Barbara has also served as Director of Marketing in multi-level retirement living, Community Director, and Regional Sales and Marketing Director in skilled nursing and assisted living. Barbara’s passion is serving as an advocate for seniors and their families as they begin the journey to their new senior living home…providing resources, compassion and exceptional customer service. “After a move, seeing our residents socializing and having a good time, receiving care they may need, and feeling safe and comforted, brings such a feeling of joy at the end of the day”. When Barbara is not working, she enjoys painting, cooking and gardening. Her favorite time is spent with her 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren.
Gloria Churney, Life Enrichment Director
Gloria comes to Danbury with over 7 years of Life Enrichment experience. She has attended the International Council on Active Aging and many Life Enrichment workshops. Gloria received her Bachelor’s degree from Lake Erie College and lives in Mentor with her husband and 3 kids. When it comes to life enrichment activities, Gloria believes “the sky is the limit” and works diligently to bring “out of the box” ideas to resident lives. As an avid Browns, Cavs and Indians fan, Gloria loves to include these hometown favorites into monthly activities!
Robin Eberly, Executive Chef
Robin has been enjoying learning new cooking techniques and preparing family favorites for over 25 years. She first began cooking in her family’s restaurant, located in a small Canadian logging town. She has picked up different skill sets at the many colorful locations she has resided, ranging from the mountains of British Columbia to Montana to Northern California and now Ohio. She loves making delicious homemade meals for our residents. “I try hard to keep our residents happy by serving the meals they love and giving them some new dishes to try as well.” In her spare time she loves cooking and baking for her family and friends. At home she has 3 very active children who love to do any outdoor activities with mom; gardening, hiking, fishing, swimming and boating to name a few.
Frank Gauthier, Environmental Services Director
Frank, a native of Buffalo, New York, has resided in Akron, Ohio since 1965. He acquired a special interest in maintenance while working for the State of Ohio, Dept. of Mental Health for 17 years. To further his knowledge, he attended C.E.T.A. Trade School, receiving a certificate in Building Maintenance II. Frank has 30 plus years in building maintenance, covering electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems. In addition, he has 8 years in management, directing areas of life safety, building functions, and daily operations. Frank is very passionate about bringing a better quality of life to the older population and maintains great joy in doing so. His main objective is to strive to achieve excellence in every way possible.
