Festival of Trees, Trees for a Cause Raise Money for Charities
This holiday season, the Danbury communities of Parkside Village, North Canton, and Brunswick decked the halls with donated trees, wreaths, gift baskets, and decor for their annual charity auction. The free events, called Trees for a Cause at Parkside Village and Festival of Trees at North Canton and Brunswick, invited guests to view and bid on holiday decor over the course of a week or two, treating guests with special events featuring music, hors d’oeuvres, festive drinks, and Santa.
Parkside Village, celebrating its 7th Trees for a Cause, raised $7,300 for various charities, while North Canton’s Festival of Trees brought in over $5,000 for ACBC, Aluminum Cans for Burned Children.
