Chris Quinlan, LNHA, Executive Director
Chris has over 20 years of experience working in senior living and has been with Danbury since July 2012. She is a graduate of Ohio University with a degree in Health Administration with a concentration on long-term care. Chris enjoys getting to know residents and their families and learning about their life story. She views every day as an opportunity to make a difference.
Ashley Sharon, Director of Nursing
Ashley started with Danbury as a full-time night nurse in 2019. Ashley has been in healthcare for 10 years, and was previously an athletic trainer before jumping into her true passion of nursing. With degrees from Ohio University, and Hondros College of Nursing she dedicates her career to advocating for her residents and prides herself on being a continuing resource of education and skill development for her staff. In her free time she likes to kayak, camp, and ride her motorcycle.
Lesley Smiley, Director of Sales and Marketing
With more than 20 years of combined experience in sales, marketing, and community outreach, Lesley is focused on helping others achieve their goals. For twelve years prior to joining Danbury Senior Living, Lesley worked with seniors and became a true advocate for them as her residents. Her no-pressure approach and passion for helping the aging population led her to Danbury Westerville. Hardworking, dedicated, and creative, Lesley is committed to always doing her best to assist in any way possible and feels her job is done well only when her residents feel good about the decisions they’ve made working with her. She is great at problem-solving and is thrilled to have the opportunity to network, collaborate and build strong relationships within the industry.
When she’s not working, Lesley enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband, their two children and their pets: Cooper, Charlotte, Bear, and Baxter . You can also find Lesley watching her kids’ sporting events, traveling, gardening, and volunteering.
Georgie Naumoff, Business Office Manager
Georgiann Naumoff joined the Danbury team as an Administrative Assistant in May 2021 shortly after graduating from Ohio University with a degree in Health Service. Her passion for helping others is what drove her into a career in the healthcare industry. She currently resides in Mansfield, Ohio where she has lived her entire life. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She is eager to learn more about the residents and families here at Danbury Westerville.
Todd Wallace, Executive Chef
Todd has been cooking for over 30 years, since he was fourteen. He got his start in the restaurant and hotel business and even owned his own restaurant in Mansfield, Ohio. Todd moved to the health care side of the Hospitality Industry almost 4 years ago. He made this move because he felt it was time to give back and taking care of seniors was his way of giving. He has a Associates of Culinary Arts degree and a Bachelors Degree of Food Service Management from Johnson and Wales University, Charleston South Carolina.
Katherine Benalcazar, Life Enrichment Director
Katherine studied at Ohio University and received her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts, Graphic Design. After years of design and business development in the design world, Katherine has found a perfect blend of her talents and interests at Danbury Senior Living Community. She is able to serve others and use art and cultural activities as a tool to bring joy to residents’ lives, enabling them to be socially connected and in touch with their feelings and continue to grow and have a purpose during their senior years.
Michelle Kane, Memory Care Director
Michelle has worked with people with dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease for over 10 years and found it to be her passion. She graduated from the University of Findlay with a degree in Criminal Justice Administration but started working with seniors because she cared deeply for her grandparents. Michele wants to ensure that when seniors move to a senior living community, each will be provided great care: emotional, physical, and spiritual. “I truly believe that someone living with dementia is still there and it is our job as caregivers to find them.”
Wayne Opatz, Environmental Services Director
Wayne brings a rich background of preventative maintenance from the public and private sectors. Fire safety and customer satisfaction are his priorities. Wayne enjoys building and grounds maintenance. He is a graduate of Vermillion Community College with a degree in Parks and Recreation Management. Wayne enjoys keeping the community looking its best for the residents and their guests.
