Leasa has worked with Senior Citizens for over 20 years, the last 10 with Danbury Senior Living. She began her senior living career as a fitness director for Wooster Community Center teaching water fitness, line dancing and a variety of other classes. This led Leasa to become the Activity Director for an assisted living community. She was the Marketing Director for Danbury Senior Living in Cuyahoga Falls before becoming the Executive Director in North Canton. Leasa enjoys her position because of the warm family atmosphere that is present from the moment you walk through the front doors. She appreciates the team efforts of the staff and enjoys the friendliness of the residents.
After spending twenty-eight years in retail sales and ten years serving as a community relations director within the senior health care field, Vicky is a well-respected resource and leader within Stark County. Her knowledge, personal experiences, and outstanding listening skills allow Vicky to serve as navigator and problem-solver to individuals who are looking for creative solutions. Vicky is married and is the proud mother of two grown sons. She loves participating in outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing, rowing, and biking. She is also an avid fan of local concerts and musical productions.
Kathie has been with Danbury for 11 years. Her prior leadership experience is as an administrator of a child care center and a manager of a restaurant. Robin has been enjoying learning new cooking techniques and preparing family favorites for over 25 years. She first began cooking in her family’s restaurant, located in a small Canadian logging town. She has picked up different skill sets at the many colorful locations she has resided, ranging from the mountains of British Columbia to Montana to Northern California and now Ohio. She loves making delicious homemade meals for our residents. “I try hard to keep our residents happy by serving the meals they love and giving them some new dishes to try as well.” In her spare time she loves cooking and baking for her family and friends. At home she has 3 very active children who love to do any outdoor activities with mom; gardening, hiking, fishing, swimming and boating to name a few.
Sandi has worked with our organization for over 17 years. In addition to her time with Danbury, Sandi owned and operated a ceramic studio for 13 years. She enjoys organizing activities, leading them, and introducing new programs to the residents. She appreciates her interactions with residents and counts every day as a challenge and as a reward.
Ryan has been in maintenance most of his life. His grandfather owned properties throughout the Akron area. He taught him to take pride in his work.
