Meet The Team »
Toni joined the Danbury team in July 2018. She brings 25 years of dedicated service as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator within the assisted living and skilled care setting. Toni attributes her success as a leader to following the core values of compassion, fairness, honesty, humor and respect. Toni earned a BS degree in Economics and an Associate Degree in Business Management from Youngstown State University. Toni is a life long resident of Northeast Ohio. She and her husband, David have 3 sons attending college and 2 dogs. Toni enjoys watching Cleveland sports, biking, gardening and spending time with her family.
Sarah joined the Danbury team in January 2020. She has 23 years of nursing experience in the hospital, skilled nursing and assisted living settings. As a certified Dementia Practitioner she loves both our AL and MC Residents. When not at work Sarah spends time with her husband, teenage son, and daughter and enjoys gardening.
With over 30 years of experience in senior living, Barbara has served seniors in several capacities. Her career began as a Hospital Liaison with Riverside/Grant Hospitals, Columbus, Ohio. Barbara has also served as Director of Marketing in multi-level retirement living, Community Director, and Regional Sales and Marketing Director in skilled nursing and assisted living. Barbara’s passion is serving as an advocate for seniors and their families as they begin the journey to their new senior living home…providing resources, compassion and exceptional customer service. “After a move, seeing our residents socializing and having a good time, receiving care they may need, and feeling safe and comforted, brings such a feeling of joy at the end of the day”. When Barbara is not working, she enjoys painting, cooking and gardening. Her favorite time is spent with her 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren.
Bob has worked with seniors, families and professionals in Northeast Ohio for almost 20 years. He has an undergraduate degree and master’s degree in communication and has served on adjunct faculty of University of Akron and Mt. Union University. He has transferred this expertise to the field of aging and Alzheimer’s and has become a Certified Dementia Practitioner. He has been involved in many lectures for Danbury communities as well as professionals about the topics of aging, Alzheimer’s Disease and Brain health, as well as grief. Bob’s role as Director of Business Development is to develop friendships in the community and tell the Danbury story, sharing on aging, senior living, Alzheimer’s and several other topics to your healthcare organization, church, business, chamber of commerce, etc. When he’s not at work, Bob can be found living a healthy life to the fullest with his wife and 5 kids who love to travel and find adventure in every nook and cranny.
Coreina has worked in both skilled nursing and assisted living for over 30 years. She has always had a strong desire to serve in the office management field and when the opportunity became available, she gladly accepted the position. Coreina has continuously been perfecting the skills needed to operate in the area of business and human resources, consistently developing ways to serve in the highest capacity as possible. It is with great pleasure that she is able to serve and be part of a team that cares at Danbury Senior Living. She is very passionate about the quality of the lives of the elderly. Coreina is a native of Pittsburgh, Pa. She and her husband, Ken, reside in Austintown, Ohio and enjoy spending time together with their dog Buddy and summer days riding their motorcycle or convertible mustang. Coreina loves gardening and spending time with her 2 sons and her grandchildren. They are avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Indians fans.
Gloria comes to Danbury with over 7 years of Life Enrichment experience. She has attended the International Council on Active Aging and many Life Enrichment workshops. Gloria received her Bachelor’s degree from Lake Erie College and lives in Mentor with her husband and 3 kids. When it comes to life enrichment activities, Gloria believes “the sky is the limit” and works diligently to bring “out of the box” ideas to resident lives. As an avid Browns, Cavs and Indians fan, Gloria loves to include these hometown favorites into monthly activities!
Frank, a native of Buffalo, New York, has resided in Akron, Ohio since 1965. He acquired a special interest in maintenance while working for the State of Ohio, Dept. of Mental Health for 17 years. To further his knowledge, he attended C.E.T.A. Trade School, receiving a certificate in Building Maintenance II. Frank has 30 plus years in building maintenance, covering electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems. In addition, he has 8 years in management, directing areas of life safety, building functions, and daily operations. Frank is very passionate about bringing a better quality of life to the older population and maintains great joy in doing so. His main objective is to strive to achieve excellence in every way possible.
Chef Jeff Jarrett has been with Danbury Senior Living in Hudson since August as Executive Chef and Director of Dietary. Chef Jeff has been an integral part of some of the best restaurants in the greater Cleveland area. Breaking into the industry at the AAA four-diamond rated “The Leopard” in The Bertram Inn and Conference Center, he quickly rose to Executive Chef before joining the opening team as Chef de Cuisine at Light Bistro, voted best new restaurant in three prominent Northeast Ohio publications. Jeff is very involved in local charities, giving back to the community that he loves. Chef has worked with the Cleveland Food Bank, Cleveland Sight Center, Veggie U, and Autism Society of Greater Cleveland and has been the Culinary Chair for both the March of Dimes and the American Liver Foundation. He is a member of the James Beard Foundation and has twice been a feature chef at the James Beard House. Jeff has also been a featured chef at The Chef’s Garden and has been listed in Best Chefs America.
