Cara Crossetti, Executive Director
Cara has worked in almost all areas of senior living in her career. She is dedicated to providing residents with the highest levels of service, care, and comfort possible. Cara states that this is why she has dedicated her life to working with seniors. She is a native of Central Ohio who loves animals and being outdoors. Cara is a graduate of Upper Arlington High School and Ohio University with degrees in Organizational Communication and Fine Arts.
Robin Mandeville, Director of Nursing
Robin has nearly twenty years of nursing credentials, awards, and experience. She has served in the medical field in the state of Ohio and performed serviceable assignments as an independent provider for the Ohio Medicaid Program. As an extension of her nursing skills and responsibilities, Robin assisted with multiple research studies for Medtronic, a global producer of medical devices. Additionally, Robin was recognized for her exemplary Manometry procedures. She was productive and efficient during her durable Dementia Alzheimer's thirteen-year patient care experience. Leadership skills are paramount to Robin. She was the recipient of a leadership award presented by the International Nurse's Association. Robin states, “My professional belief is that leadership must begin with a commitment to excellence. Leadership in this capacity includes, but is not limited to, educating, inspiring, and engaging each resident to specifically enhance their quality of life. It is our duty to treat and serve with compassion. I am dedicated to sound and comprehensible leadership in addition to excellence with the objective of maintaining and providing a healthy and safe community for our residents here at Danbury.".
Jennifer Zingery, Director of Sales and Marketing
Jen has 10 years’ experience in senior living and also has an extensive background in marketing and public relations. She loves being a resource for families and seniors as they move through the decision-making process of choosing the best fit for a person’s individual needs and lifestyle wishes. To Jen, there is nothing more fulfilling than a resident saying, “This move was the best decision,” after relocating to a community and seeing all the rewarding aspects of senior living. Jen lives in Dublin and enjoys time with her family, friends and two crazy French Bulldogs – Hank and Alice.
Cassie Emerson, Business Office Manager
Cassie developed her passion for health and caring for others at a young age. Ten years ago, her work experience began in health and fitness where her desire for health evolved into a career in senior living. Cassie is a graduate of Ohio University in Healthcare Service Administration. She worked with a local company in their Neighborhood Care division where she assisted patients daily. Eager to learn and grow, Cassie’s love for healthcare continues as she dedicates herself and her efforts to making Danbury Senior Living an enjoyable loving home for residents and their friends and families.
Lana Shaffer, Director of Life Enrichment
Lana Shaffer is the Director of Life Enrichment here at Danbury Columbus. She enjoys spending time with our residents and giving them something to look forward to every day. She loves seeing them laugh and smile and listening to their stories about their lives. It brings her great joy and satisfaction to make a difference in their day. Lana is passionate about her job because it comes from the heart. She is a very loving, nurturing, sensitive person with a sincere demeanor. Married for 17 years, she has one son and a beagle named Cowboy. Lana cherishes friend and family time, and likes to run, play tennis, walk her dog, play board games, listen to all types of music, warm weather, the beach and short road trips.
Christy Friece, Executive Chef
Christy graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in New York. Her favorite cooking style is Deep Southern Cooking with a modern fusion. Her passion for cooking was inspired by her grandmother and mother. Christy has worked in senior living settings for the last nine years. She receives great satisfaction providing seniors with exceptional meals made with fresh, healthy foods. Christy enjoys exploring new ways to prepare inviting, nutritionally-balanced foods. She is excited about her role at Danbury Senior Living.
Stephen Brown, Director of Environmental Services
Stephen is a graduate of The Ohio State University and has over 13 years of experience in maintenance. His experience includes campground and hotel maintenance but over time he discovered his passion is working in senior living. Stephen takes great pride in knowing he is providing both a safe and comfortable environment for our residents in their home. He loves to learn new things and enjoys hearing the interesting stories that our residents tell about when they were growing up. In Stephen's spare time he restores classic cars and spends time with his family.
