Shannon Domanich, Executive Director
Shannon grew up in Strongsville Ohio and lives in Medina currently with her husband Chris, her two beautiful children Clay and Cora and their dog Pearl. Shannon has been working with Danbury Senior Living for close to three years now at the Danbury Community in Broadview Heights where she completed and graduated from the Leadership Academy. Shannon has been working in long term care for about 20 years and her career in health care all started with working as a receptionist when she was just 16 years old. Through the years Shannon received her STNA License, Activity Director Certification, worked in Marketing and worked as the Assistant Executive Director at Danbury Broadview Heights. Shannon comes from a very large family of nine filled with health care workers and police officers. She was born with a passion for helping others especially the senior population. Shannon has been volunteering since before she can remember at a long-term care nursing home where she found her passion for a career in senior living. In her free time, she enjoys doing crafts and she loves going on trips to the ocean. Shannon is very excited and honored to be working in such a wonderful community for such a great company.
Allison Tucker, Director of Sales and Marketing
Allison is a compassionate senior living professional with 20 years of experience. She has always had a passion for seniors and helping others going way back to caring for her Grandmother when she was younger. Allison brings many years of leadership, and experience in a variety of positions in senior living throughout her career. When Allison is not working she enjoys being a mom to her 2 school-aged children, working out and spending time with her friends and family.
Elizabeth Berkel, Director of Life Enrichment
Elizabeth Berkel is a dedicated elder care professional who joined the Danbury team in August 2019. She has a passion for being of service to others and empowering people to improve their well-being. Elizabeth has over 10 years of experience in vocational evaluation and healthcare education. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from John Carroll University and is a certified instructor in the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program. She has a special interest in dementia and Parkinson’s disease and supervised a National Parkinson Foundation Outreach Center in central Florida before returning to her home state of Ohio. When not at work, Elizabeth keeps busy with gardening, crafting, spending time with her dogs and watching her three school-aged children grow up all too quickly.
Jeff Cooper, Executive Chef
Jeff came to Danbury after 20 years in the restaurant business. After 15 years of cooking, he decided to attend the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and received his degree in 2012. Jeff decided to switch gears and join the Senior Living community after working in fine dining for some time. It has been a gratifying change and putting smiles on our residents' faces is what its all about for him. Jeff enjoys spending his time off with his two children and enjoying Ohio State football.
Bryan Walsh, Environmental Services Director
Bryan has an extensive background in residential and long-term care maintenance and environmental services. He grew up in Strongsville and is a graduate of Polaris Career Center. Bryan enjoys working with the Danbury team; resident and family satisfaction is his priority. Bryan takes pride in keeping our Danbury community looking its best for residents, their families and friends, co-workers, and as a beacon for senior living in the community of Broadview Heights.
