Meet The Team »
With 17 years’ experience dedicated to senior living, Scott DePriest began his vocation as a Director of Environmental Services and Building Safety. Scott received his business degree from Malone University, is a licensed nursing home administrator and a certified dementia practitioner. Scott has a great passion for creating an atmosphere that fosters positive energy, "life" and lasting memories for residents, family members and staff. He and his wife, Darlene, reside in North Canton, have three children and three grandchildren. Outside of work he is involved with The Chapel in North Canton, Gideon’s International, Chamber of Commerce and enjoys playing golf.
Candias has more than 12 years of experience in the health care field. She has spent most of her time in the assisted living setting where she started her career as an aide, became a licensed practical nurse, and has extensive years of management experience. While she enjoys working in this healthcare setting her passion lies within memory care. In her free time she enjoys participating in various fitness activities, as well as spending time with her two children Shem and Amiah. Candias is thrilled to be a part of the Danbury Senior Living community, and is excited to serve and extend her experience to all our residents and their loved ones.
Cheryl is a local girl, the oldest of six and understands family. With a passion for educating families on the benefits of senior living services and amenities, she has worked in senior living for nine years and witnessed the positive outcomes of personalized services for seniors. Cheryl is always ready to assist residents, families, and friends with their questions and concerns. She has been with Danbury Senior Living in Broadview Heights since its opening.
Tanya’s 15 years of senior living experience covers assisted living, long-term care, Alzheimer’s and dementia care. She enjoys listening to resident stories and watching their heart smile with memories. She looks forward to working with residents and their families as new stories are made at Danbury, and she and her reception staff are available to assist in answering questions as they arise.
Michael has an extensive background in hospitality and holds a culinary arts degree from the International Culinary Arts & Science Institute. Mike has over 20 years of experience in the restaurant business and was the executive chef at our local family owned Carrie Cerino's. Mike's awards include winner of the 2009 Cleveland's Finest Hor D'oeuvres Competition and bronze in the Great Culinary Classics 2007 through the American Culinary Federation. Mike enjoys discussing dining choices with out residents and recently rolled out our "Anytime Dining ~ The Kitchen Is Always Open" to our residents and families.
Donna has worked in senior living for 22 years, 17 of which were dedicated to memory care. A graduate of Bowling Green State University, she received her Bachelors of Science degree with a major in Recreation. Donna has 19 years as Activity Director Certified and for the past 10 years she has served on the Board of Directors for both state and local Activity Associations. When asked about her career Donna said, “Working with elders has been an extremely rewarding journey. Being able to be a part of providing a great Quality of Life is so important and my true passion in this work. I love seeing each resident smile!”
As a Certified Dementia Practitioner, Sarah is responsible for ensuring each memory care resident is provided outstanding life enrichment opportunities. She has ten years of Experience as an Activities Director with seniors with the past five years focused on life enrichment of Alzheimer's and dementia residents. Sarah is dedicated to understanding each person as a unique individual and helping to educate families and loved ones regarding the disease process.
Bryan has an extensive background in residential and long-term care maintenance and environmental services. He grew up in Strongsville and is a graduate of Polaris Career Center. Bryan enjoys working with the Danbury team; resident and family satisfaction is his priority. Bryan takes pride in keeping our Danbury community looking its best for residents, their families and friends, co-workers, and as a beacon for senior living in the community of Broadview Heights.
