Memory Care in Mentor

A loved one’s diagnosis of dementia or another memory disorder can be devastating. Where do you turn? At Danbury Mentor, we understand your concerns and that’s why we offer memory care services to a limited number of residents. Our specially trained staff provides holistic, life-enriching care in a secure environment that is free from distressing stimuli. We encourage interaction with other memory care residents and focus on memory recall and honing motor skills.

Memory care residents are in a secure, monitored environment. They have 24/7 access to licensed nurses and resident companions, so they are never alone. We also offer wireless emergency pendants as an extra layer of security. Resident apartments have smoke alarms, sprinkler systems, and grab bars in the bathrooms. We provide chef-prepared meals and transportation to medical appointments. Home health care services are also available.  

Family members are encouraged to participate in their loved one’s care plan. We invite open communication and urge you to visit as often as you can.
