Our Life Enrichment Teams are working hard to keep our residents active, engaged, and healthy.

Dear Family and Responsible Party,
Hi, I’m Teresa Gregg, the Corporate Director of Life Enrichment at Danbury Senior Living. We want to reassure our families and responsible parties that during this difficult time dealing with the COVID-19 virus, that your loved one’s health and happiness remains our top priority. This currently means shifting our group activities into a homebound status as a precautionary measure. Now, more than ever, we know the importance of providing programming to our residents that will bring them comfort and joy while minimizing boredom, isolation, and signs of depression.
At Danbury, our staff is committed to keeping our residents active and engaged. Our programming is now “On The Go” as we have the ability through technology and creative programming to provide room-based activity opportunities. Our Life Enrichment staff remain dedicated to meeting the needs of the residents they serve. Just ask Katherine who served “Happy Hour” down the halls at our Parkside community, or Gloria who provides a daily “Challenge” to her residents—writing poetry was something they did this week or Mary at Massillon Danbury who had individual St. Patrick Day packages for each resident which included beads, hats and holiday trivia!
It's unclear how long this will go on, but we thank you for supporting your loved one through letters, phone calls, Skype, and Facetime. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook where we are encouraging Life Enrichment staff to post frequent pictures. Reach out and stay connected! We’re here to help not only our residents, but also YOU—their family and friends.
Thank you and look for frequent updates from Danbury Senior Living,
Teresa J. Gregg, ADC
Corporate Director of Life Enrichment
