Dear Families, Residents, and Team Members,
The last time we posted an update we were eagerly awaiting the Ohio Department of Health guidelines for visitation. This is especially the case as our last community has received the second dose of the vaccine. Well, the guidelines have arrived, and we are delighted to be able to share them with you.
First, let us share the general guidelines for visits in our Danbury communities. Visits are open anytime Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm with no appointment necessary. If you need a weekend or evening visitation time, please call the community to schedule one so we can ensure staff is available to assist you. We ask if you are able to visit during the Monday-Friday open visitation times that you do so. This will allow our working families easier access to visit in the evenings and on the weekends.
As to the specifics here is what you need to know:
Compassionate Caregiver visits are allowed at all times following the specific guidelines above. However, visits after hours will need to be scheduled. Please contact your community for further directions.
While we know there are no guarantees, we are leaning hard on the hope that we are moving away from the worst COVID can throw at us and our treasured residents. Our gratitude to them and to our families and team members only increases, particularly when we reflect on the incredible patience and support freely given these many months.
May God bless you and your family!
Sincerely and Thankfully,
Chief Operating Officer
