Our team is so delighted to share that we’ve been selected as a Top Workplace in Northeast Ohio for 2022. This recognition is based solely on the anonymous survey submissions by the people who serve our community every single day, and we could not be more proud! Danbury Senior Living placed 11th out of the top 25 large businesses in the region.
Out of 2,920 companies invited to participate, there were 406 organizations nominated for the Top Workplace award. Two hundred and twenty companies were recognized on the list, but only two companies specializing in assisted living or senior living qualified. Danbury was one of them.
To determine the rankings, employees from businesses throughout Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Erie, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit and Wayne Counties were surveyed by employee engagement expert Energage. According to the Top Workplaces website, employees respond to 24 base questions to shed light on how aligned they feel with the company, how connected they are to the organization, how effective their managers are at coaching, and performance across the organization. The survey also measures employee engagement, leadership, and the basic aspects of the job, including pay, benefits, flexibility, training, and expectations. All survey responses are anonymous.
It means so much to us to know that our chefs, cooks, dining servers, LPNs, care companions, life enrichment assistants, maintenance teams, housekeeping teams, managers, and the rest of our staff have created such a warm and inviting place for our residents as well as for their fellow employees.
