As the Executive Director at Danbury Senior Living, Deb feels honored to lead the Brunswick Team in providing compassionate quality care to our customers. She has been serving the Medina County older adult community for over thirty-five years. Deb is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator who believes in empowering the residents to make individual choices in their activities of daily living. Deb graduated from Wadsworth High School and later received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.
Viv has worked in the Healthcare setting as a Registered Nurse for 25 years. Viv is a graduate of NCTC and she brings outstanding clinical and leadership experience. During her career she has worked in the hospital setting in the Oncology and Telemetry department, worked in Home Health as a wound nurse then followed her heart and passion caring for the elderly in SNF. Viv has been a Director of Nursing for in a Skilled Nursing facility for greater than 17 years, “My passion is to help residents feel they are at home, feel safe in their environment and to know they have quality, caring medical staff there for them whenever they need it.”
Kelcey’s career path with Danbury began as a Receptionist at the Wooster building in July 2017 with a promotion to Business Office Manager of Brunswick in October 2017. She graduated in December 2017 from The Ohio State University – Fisher College of Business with her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Kelcey very much enjoys getting acquainted with residents and assisting them with anything they need.
Chef Bryant knew from an early age that food was his passion. After graduating from Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts, Chef Bryant worked in fine dining restaurants in the Akron and Hudson areas. After honing his skills in a variety of positions Chef Bryant left the restaurant scene for a more gratifying position in senior healthcare. There he was able to bring restaurant style food and service into an environment in dire need of change. With 20+ years of experience as a ACF Accredited Chef and 18 as a Certified Dietary Manager, he ensures all meals leaving his kitchen are up to the highest standards.
Heather began her career as a Life Enrichment Director 4 1/2 years ago while in school acquiring her degree in business administration and accounting. Heather has such a passion for her work with seniors that she chose this career path in spite of her past aspirations of becoming an accountant. Originally from Wheeling, WV, Heather has been a resident of Medina County for the past 21 years. She is the mother of 5 sons that keep her very busy. Family is a very important aspect of her life. She thinks of her residents as her extended family and enjoys every minute that she gets to spend with them utilizing her organizational and creative talents.
Kevin graduated from Ashland High school and attended OSU/ATI branch in Wooster for their Maintenance Certificate Program. He spent 28 years with his previous employer. Nineteen of those years were spent in a Supervisor/Maintenance role. In 2017 Kevin decided a job change was needed so he joined the Danbury Team and never looked back. He is excited about the atmosphere that Danbury provides for the residents and is looking forward to another 28 years with a new team.
